Magnolia Gift Box

Here's a little box I made to give to my daughter with her birthday present in, instead of wrapping it in the usual way. It was my first attempt at anything other than cardmaking since starting my crafting last November. It was a bit trial and error and my corners are a bit dodgy, but I'll know more about what to do on my next attempt. I'm really quite please with the end result for my first attempt.
I'm entering this in  the Glitter challenge.

KennyK Challenge No 28, Blue, Silver & White

This is the first challenge I have entered, I didn't win, but it's the taking part that counts- lol

I used KennyK's Movie Star digi stamp and coloured her with my Pro-Markers, I love this image, I added silver stars cut with my Spellbinders star die, papers and ribbon from my stash and a sentiment from my file of sentiments, most of which are freebies from various sites.

Naughty or Nice!

A closer look.

I wanted to make my husband a Christmas card with a difference. I didn't think a cutie image would suit him! I love KennyK's stamps so I used Christmas Hottie, I didn't have a Spellbinder die to fit round her, so I cut round her with my fancy scissors, using a plate as my template! I used two pieces of scalloped card and held them together with ribbon. I used my Pro-Markers to colour her in. I was unsure how this would turn out, but both he and I were very pleased with the end result.

A Little Bird Told Me..........

I made this card for a special young lady's birthday. I used a Sugar Nellie stamp called A Little Birdie Told Me. I coloured her in with Pro-Markers and added a sentiment although I'm not sure where it was from as I have a file of sentiments saved on my laptop. I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and Spellbinders Nestabilities to sit her on.
